Application deadlines

Closed programs 2018-19

Late applications are considered based on available program space. The following programs are no longer accepting applications:

  • Bachelor of Nursing
  • Bachelor of Nursing Advanced Standing



  • Feb. 15: Application deadline for Bachelor of Nursing Program
  • Nov. 15: Application deadline for Advanced Standing Nursing Program (Moncton campus)


  • Dec. 31: Bachelor of Education (Fredericton campus)
  • Jan. 31: Bachelor of Education (Saint John campus)

We host Future Student Events across the country from October to November.

Learn about program options, scholarships, financial aid, campus and student life and more. Most events also feature Admissions on the Spot; you could have your application assessed and approved in as little as 10 minutes.

Transition to University events

Learn about how to make a successful transition from high school to university! We host Transition to University events across the country from January to March.

Future students

Offer of admission and residence confirmation deadlines

May 15: Deadline to accept your offer of admission to UNB and to pay your admission deposit. For offers made after May 15, check your admission letter for deadlines. This is also the deadline to confirm your room in residence by paying the residence application fee.

Pay your admission deposit early by April 16, 2018 and you will be entered into a draw for a chance to win 1 of 2 $2500 tuition credits.

Spring Orientation, Advising, and Registration (SOAR) events

Late April & May: These on-campus events are a great opportunity for you to meet your fellow incoming UNB students, get to know your faculty, and register for courses.

Register for courses

June & July: If you couldn’t make it to one of the early registration events, you will need to speak with an academic advisor in your faculty before you register for your courses.

Residence room assignments

Room assignments are made available on July 15.

Orientation week

Early September: Orientation week and the first day of classes!
